🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 These are just a few of the most prominent examples of tsunamis that have occurred in history... and that could happen again. Do you know how deep the ocean can be, find out in this video! 👉 https://youtu.be/Q5C7sqVe2Vg

The scary thing about Tsunami isn't just an initial wave, but that the water just keeps coming behind it.

I'm from Italy, and I live less than an hour from the Vajont dam. Thank you for remembering that event, caused by avarice and disregard for people (the dam should not have been built there).
  • @syndra-nimation
The boat scène is absolutly scary !!!! And it's worst when you know it realy happened and 2 persons survived riding this huge wave . Mad respect to them
  • It sounds crazy but the 2004 tsunami really did kill about 230 000 people, happened almost 20 years ago. Lots of foreign tourists from all over the world died also.

One way or another, that Dino-killing asteroid always comes back in these videos
  • @Idyllwyld
Loving the POV action shots and the narrative flow. Seeing that fishing boat start racing towards the oncoming tsunami and managing to arc over it was more thrilling than most movies

Ah sweet, earth-made horrors beyond my comprehension...

I was a victim of the tsunami in 2004 in Indonesia, but we were lucky. My house was far from the coast, but many of my family were killed that day and their bodies were not even found. I thought that day was the end of my life, but God still gave me a chance.

Man, the Chicxulub impact was 66 million years ago already? I remember the days when it was only 65 million years ago.

This was one of your best videos! Lituya Bay Tsunami representation was cinematographic good.
  • @ToddWaid1
A father and son were actually out fishing in a small boat when the landside in Lituya Bay happened. Somehow they and there boat managed to crest the ensuing wave and live to tell the tale. Which is what I imagine is the inspiration for that oart of this video. Can you imagine being in a small crabbing/fishing boat and seeing a 200M/656 Ft. wave coming at you and your only choice is to attack ut head on with full speed and hope you make it. I read the sons account and it was insane. Great video btw one of the best yet imo.
  • That first part at the beach is exactly like nightmares I had as a kid. Actually made my heart race

It's always a joy to see your vids pop up, I've been hooked on your channel since the Pokemon size comparison vid! Makes me wonder if we will ever see the return of them now there are over 1000 Or 'Pokemon sizes compared to the creature they were based on', like putting wailord next to a blue whale? Again, always enjoy the videos!

Every time I watch one of your videos I'm glued to the screen. This one was no exception - fantastic! 👏
