when you drop into the house of bones Before you get the lightroot it is legit terrifying

There’s a cave in the Hebra region called the “Sturnida Springs Cave” and if you look carefully, you can find a hole in the wall you can crouch to get through and a tunnel leads you to a room full of mushrooms and ice crystals and it’s really pretty I think it’s tied to a side quest too

RIP Satori Iwata you will be remembered forever 😢

Oh yeah, the reward for the Akkala House of Bones is the Biggoron's Sword, which was a powerful 2-handed sword from Ocarina of Time's trading quest. Once obtained from the House of Bones, it can be bought from the bargainer statue in exchange for some poes.

You know? The fact that Gloom Spawn appears in Makar Island it's a reference on it's own. In the Wild Waker there is a moment in the Wind Temple where Floormasters (that looks just like Gloom Spawns in this game) appear and take Makar with them to a jail (a mechanic that is used in the Earth Temple as well)

By Rutile Lake next to Satori Mountain, there’s a small hill filled with silent princesses and blue nightshades. There’s also endura carrots scattered around that area. It’s a beautiful spot. Also if you help the Gerudo with the sick husband in Gerudo Valley, they will appear by Rutile lake.

4:33 for this pond, use shock arrows instead so that you have the meat ingredients instead of seared meat using up your meal slots

I think the dark skeletons in the depth are pretty cool. There are 3 giant dragon skeletons in the depth. The Gerudo Dark Skeleton is at the south-west cornel of the map, the Dark Hebra Skeleton is at the north-east cornel, and the Eldin Dark Skeleton is north to the fire temple at the edge of the map. I remember first I have found the one under Hebra and followed the bones from the tail to the head in the darkness and I found a treasure in the end. 😉 An other location I think is cool is Birida Lookout and Birida Lookout Chasm. It is the chasm between gerudo town and the yiga hideout. The cool thing is there is a platform at the lookout where you can dive into the chasm and at the bottom there is a small pond you can fall into. Also there are 3 mushroom trees there and at the bottom of them there are a lot of bomb flowers, puffshrooms muddle buds. So it is a good place to put down a travel medalion, and come back regularly to collect the bomb floweres.

There's a ceve in the zorana plateau that has a lot of Hylian ruins inside. It's pretty interesting and also mysterious. It's right where you find a part of the climbing set.

The reward for the Stalnox is Biggoron's Sword. Love how there's specific locations now instead of amiibo

I was exploring in the Faron region today, near Floria Falls. And I discovered a cave called the Rodai Lakefront Tunnel. There's nothing particularly special about the cave. There's a lot of luminous stones and brightbloom seeds. But in the center of it is a deep, massive hole that's pitch black inside. It scared the crap out of me when I accidentally fell in, but once you light it up it looks pretty lol 🤷‍♀️ There's also the well in Kakariko Village. Inside there's the little maze made out of zonai ruins. And at the end is a little notebook that belonged to Dorian's wife before she died.

0:59 Mekar Island 1:04 Yay i made it into the video! 2:02 House of Bones 2:47 Cucco Hideaway 3:39 I'd go with the second option 3:47 Mount Floria Cave 4:08 Also how did that get up from the Depths? 4:36 Satori Mountain Pond 5:07 The console died when I encountered gloom hands. Luckily the game loaded me in at my previous spot. 5:18 Tabantha Frontier Depths Giant Root (what a mouthful) 6:05 The Satori Mountain Statue I recommend the Lockup in Hyrule Castle, unless you've already done it. If not, there are gloom hands in the lockup, instead of a Stalnox.

If you go west from Thundra plateau, you can find Mount Rhoam, on Mount Rhoam you can find a tomb stone with a royal Claymore ( the weapon he used for prediction ) which is a pretty cool reference to Zelda s father if you ask me. It was probably in BotW but I’m not sure. Anyways, have a great day.

I like how many areas are actually tied to side quests. So it just takes a bit of exploring & also you get a proper reward for it. A great example is tarm point cave, where you have a quest w/ Finley & Sasan. Theyre the zora & hylian we helped set up in botw. & in helping them we also reach a shrine. I feel like that cave is easy to miss bcuz the entrance is a hole in the floor. Also what's interesting is it counts as a side quest, not a shrine quest. If you havent yet could you please use that in a video?

There is a really cool location next deepback bay and on the left of Mapla Point. You can find it on accident while doing the quest "A Bottled Cry for help" I find it really cool because the monsters built a base with a Zonai floating brick thing that doesn't float anymore. Plus there are tons of birds and Areocudas. Not only that but the areocudas are carrying Lizalfos so you can't kill them by water or use an eyball because of the large quantity of birds.

indeed, i didn't forget that the Satori Mountain and its spirits are named after Satoru Iwata, the Nintendo CEO who passed away in 2015 (BotW was released in 2017). additionally, the Lord of the Mountain could be based on the Forest Spirit from Hayao Miazaki's Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke), since the teaser trailer for BotW in 2014 was heavily inspired by the intro in Pricess Mononke when Ashitaka was battling the giant boar that was suffering from demonification. there are a handful of references to the movie in BotW and Totk, and i think it's awesome :3

this isn't as much of a location specifically but more of a wierd fact, in each of the 4 corners of the map there is a king gleeok arena, I only recently noticed this while flying around (ignore the fact it was around the ENTIRE map.. I wanted all the bosses and wanted to make sure I got all the sky shrines done) OK, quick edit, there actually isn't one in the top right, there is only 1 above eventide island, 1 above the west gerudo ruins-ish, a little south from there and one above lake kilsie in the hebra area (a little to the west from the bottom of it) the floating arena in the top right is actually a flux constuct III (its right above skull lake if you want to check)

The Broken Heart Mountain (Ebon Mountain) right behind Zelda's House in Hateno Village( 3356, -2482, 0280 ). It has a beautiful blossom tree and gives an incredible view of all of Hateno.
