Arma 3 - FULL Beginners Guide (2023) - from buying to playing!

Damn. We are going to reach 100k views😱 I can honestly tell you I never got any video above 10k (not that I deserve more with my type of content), but I'd love to take a moment to thank all of you for taking the time (a whole hour!) to do some research before playing! I'm always happy to see all your positive feedback and stories. I also am grateful for the honesty and constructive feedback ofcourse. The most common problem is defintely with the files and how to install them. Arma 3 loves to play tricks, I'm sorry! Search the comments for solutions, check your folders/ profiles and try to get it to work. More than 50% of all people I spoke to who had issues solved them eventually. For controls changes please turn on the subtitles & check the description as well! If you want to disable freelook in vehicles to fly helicopters without flystick, you can do so in the game settings. THE COMMENT I HEAR MOST OFTEN: Appearantly you don't 'NEED' a beefy computer to run arma and enjoy it. EDIT1: Damn... 200k Statistics show most of the views aren't even because of the algorythm. You people genuinly look this up a lot! EDIT 2. 300k Thanks again you all, I have replaced the newer loadout file again, for those who don't get it to work, go IN the file and check for the text, just copy paste it into yours! Also, some people have more than 1 Arma profile, look for folders and throw it in there instead. Happy to help you fine humans. EDIT 3: 600k 😂 it's an honor. Wanna learn the Arma mechanics n stuff? Option 1: have a friend who loves teaching stuff and is regularly playing the game with you. Option 2: Play the main campaign (East Wind). If you play through that, you'll know at least 80% of them.

Excellent. Arma3 is the only game that offers such a variety of maps, missions, scenarios, mods, vehicles, weapons and the most powerful editor free to use. There are no battle passes, game currencies, gambling loot boxes and other detractors that ruin the gameplay experience. Arma3 players truly do get spoiled for choices.

Mate this is brilliant! ... it's given me the perfect leg-up to get back into ARMA3 after being absent many years and then feeling too overwhelmed to get back in.

This is a great guide for any beginner, and I highly recommend any new player to Arma3 to watch this. I was one of those guys that bought Arma3 jumped in and started to play. I was lost, it was hard to figure it out and I was getting discouraged. To the point that I was going to delete the game and call it a lost. Then I came across this video… Thank you for the time that you put into this video and keep up the great work!
