Everyone 100% totally made it out of the Backrooms and lived happily ever after :) Want to participate? Join the discord! - discord.gg/races Clarification: The purple zone at the end of the run level was actually a portal that teleported players back onto the island. Apologies for not explaining in the video.
-
Shout out to that one guy who joined three days late and said "Ayo this ain't Hawaii", honestly my favorite part of the video
-
The backrooms is the biggest example of “your not afraid of being alone, your afraid of not being alone”
-
The fact that a bunch of people just settled down in level one and farmed potatoes is hilarious
-
Damn, Gang is the most loyal group. They literally started an absolute riot over one player💀love it.
-
I like how the people just came from being enemies, to being a whole civilized tribe, then just breaks apart into smaller tribes and fight each other, then just became a whole tribe again.
-
This social experiment was absolutely magnificent. It's actually quite unique from most Minecraft videos. Here's looking forward to more
-
you guys should do one of these, starting in a very nice world, but if you die you get sent into a new, much worse area/world/biome. this repeats all the way until its nearly inhospitable. Then the twist comes in where some horrible force is slowly pushing through the worlds, inevitably killing everyone from the nicer worlds. The people who died first will ironically have the advantage, having already learnt the world and setting up some defenses, hopefully.

I love how this is actual science. Testing the ideals of the players in a limited environment. The only thing wrong is that it’s just a video game, so the stakes are near non-existent. Still, it was an interesting journey of social interaction, conflict, and comradery
-
This deserved its own comment. Why not make this a series. Have different groups from time to time go through the same scenario and see the differences played out from group to group. 300 people every episode. Could it be possible? It would make one hell of a YouTube series
-
This literally sounds exactly like something the SCP Foundation would do, well done you D-Class personnel that lived
-
6:39 man really didn’t want to say it
-
Fun fact: In Level 5 or The Hotel, there is a docile entity simply known and referred to as "The Receptionist" which gives out room keys to Players.
-
I love how Every time someone makes a bunch of players survive together in Minecraft theres always that one group/faction being a menace to the entire society of the server 10/10 pretty acurrate lol
-
Would've been neat if the ones teleported to the backrooms first (while there were still others on the island) had their chat localized so no one could hear them unless in the backrooms with them
-
5:30 even dirt becomes valuable once it is scarce
-
Wotrock saying "Ay yo this isnt hawii" had me wheezing.
-
I just love the idea of surviving in an alien world like this, especially with tons of people competing with each other.
-
That's interesting they didn't just start to slaughter each other. Kinda like a "oh boi, we're in this together, or you're dying first" kinda vibe.
-
oh hey... that's me getting killed at 7:18... fun event though :D
