I’m glad you acknowledged Miles’ first case with the defendant killing himself on the stand. Lots of people forget that it was Miles’ first case as well as Mia’s. And I’m just wondering how Manfred reacted to it. It probably had a deep impact on Miles that contributed to his feelings of self doubt and resentment.

Jesus Christ, this man had his father die at a very young age, was then raised by the man that killed his father and didn't know for 15 years, had his first trial end with the defendant killing himself, got framed for a murder he did not commit along with then being accused of the murder of his father, all while being prosecuted by the man who actually killed his father. I feel so bad for this poor man.

That HURT you have no right but at the same time I love everything about this. The different people Miles walks with in his life was nice, and he looks more confident and relaxed walking with Gumshoe than von Karma and the buildup meeting Yogi at the lake. Also can I just say that I still love your design for Phoenix with all his scars and the way you drew Miles's reaction to his first two cases ending in disaster and Franziska almost comforting him and AGH your work is fantastic and I love it with all my heart. Also Phoenix looking up at the parrot and putting the metal detector against von Karma's shoulder are really good frames and I love the expressions

Idk why, but I like how you drew Edgeworth getting thinner with time, and how he began to fall apart after those cases (idk what cases they are, but still), as his memories of DL-6 came back at full force. This is probably because I read too much depressing fanfiction, but whatever 🙂

agh there's so much going on here, but i particularly love the contrast between miles holding his dad's defense attorney badge and then later clutching his prosecutor's badge (and on the line "god this is all there is" it fuckin HURT). i love how "blue" is first associated with miles when he first defends phoenix as children, but then as miles is taken by von karma it becomes associated with phoenix (which also makes sense, considering his blue suit lol). i also really liked the part with miles walking through life (and i rlly liked tiny baby franziska jskfjk) and ultimately stopping in front of yogi, as if his entire life had been building to that moment, because it kind of was, since that event so dramatically altered his trajectory in life and marked a turning point for him and it's just. i love it. ALSO something i noticed in this is that miles becomes a lot thinner as he grows into the "demon prosecutor," especially when compared to how he was as a child. but whenever you draw him during time periods when he's happier (like as a child and him post-trilogy/post-von karma) he's fatter. and that detail makes me kind of want to cry (and also makes me want to deck von karma in the face even more than before), but i also really appreciate it?? because miles being fatter is a good thing and it's associated with happier time periods in his life (rather than it being used as an indicator that he's """let himself go""" ugh), and it isn't something you really ever see in media. i just. really love that detail. c,:
