When Allen has two MVPs, 3 Super Bowl MVPs and beats Mahomes in a playoff game - then we can have the conversation about Allen being #1. Until then, he's just another talented AFC QB chasing Mahomes.

After last year there is zero argument for anyone being better than mahomes and anyone trying to make that argument is either extremely biased, unaware of circumstances or just doesn’t understand football. Nothing against allen but Even if he is the second best qb he is still closer to someone like Herbert or dak than he is to mahomes. To be frank Lamar has mvp trophies and burrow has actually beaten mahomes and made it to a Super Bowl. To me there is a more rational argument for allen being the 4th or even 5th best qb for the reasons I mentioned than being number 1.
