Hacking Competition in Zhengzhou China. Our team qualified for the Real World CTF finals in China organised by Chaitin Tech, which was a really awesome CTF. In this video I want to share my experience and thoughts about the event.

It's so funny to think of a traveling group, that just hacks every single piece of technology in their way. :D
  • @bigbadgator
this is literally like every kung fu movie where you are invited to a unknown millionaires private island to compete in tournament

Normal people in airplane : play games . Watch movies . Reading Hackers : Hack airplane

Hey LiveOverflow, very well done to your team for the router exploit! I’m from OpenToAll and that was the first time we finished a ctf with 0points, this was the hardest ctf by far but we learned so much too. Great experience as well. See you next year maybe! Btw I don’t know who asked to hide their score in the scoreboard, weird.

"Actually a team ask me to censore their zero points" Ok we dont know their scores

passion from the audience will come from passion from the hackers man. you guys have to celebrate your victories so the other nerds feel comfortable doing so
  • @rj_2190
You are CTF eSports. I think that’s the closest thing. I wish I could have been there to watch and learn. If no one else was clapping, I’d at least be cheering you guys on!!!

8:39 From the picture, they're security guards from property management. In China it is required to have some sort of crowd control method onsite when conducting event at that scale, otherwise local authority will probably refuse to give them the permission to run it.

Watch this be a Chinese Government recruitment program

1:47 "Unfortunately the weather was not great" ~I thought he was gonna hack the weather

How I hackerman: open task manager, close task manager with task manager.

These guards were just outsourced security guards, likely employed by either building or event management. The emphasis on this CTF competition really shows where China is focused on for the future. Province of Henan, particularly its capital city Zhengzhou, is being positioned as a logistics centre for China due to its strategic location (centrally located, away from oceans or borders). This city is also very rich in history and culture. Awesome video, I enjoyed watching it from Canada. Hope that your team had many yummy pasta dishes in Henan!

  • @Boomproof
"The smog was really cool at night." For some reason this statement makes me find you incredibly deattatched from reality :D
  • @user_romanport
Man. That's such a cool logo for that CTF. Thanks for the video!
