I totally agree with your thoughts on Halle and DDG. Like Kali Uchis has a private pregnancy and announced her baby on her own terms and she was graceful with her approach. I feel like if they wanted to keep it private they wouldn't have both alluded to it constantly. And I think thats further encapsulated by Daryl making the baby an instagram.

That clip was triggering when I first watched it because of how many people were accusing her of lying. So many of us epileptic people get accused of lying by family, friends, employers, police, paramedics, doctors, etc. of our condition. Seizures can become life threatening. This was sad.

DDG really does give goofy vibes and all about clout. Halle really didn’t say much the entire pregnancy. We just noticed her outfits in red carpets being puffy/ flowy which is a give away. DDG literally had her in his youtube videos visibally looking pregnant on several occasions. if they were really trying to hide it, that’s the point of editing/cutting clips. they knew what they were doing adding to speculation.

The baddies cast was so miserable when it came to Smiley then they were talking about how it was “embarrassing “, when being on the show is the embarrassing part 😩

This baby and relationship is a downgrade for Halle but an upgrade for DDG! He gets to say “my BM is the little mermaid, my kid is in close proximity to the Carters, Oprah bought my son a gift 😂”. When Halle was heavily pregnant, DDG got online and told his followers that the ( pregnan also) Russian nail salon owner was racist towards Halle, when come to find out that Halle & Chloe had time discrepancies with their appointments. DDG's followers tormented that poor lady as well as flooded her business with bad reviews, taking weeks before the Russian lady's business and emotions regained composure. Halle had zero empathy nor compassion for a pregnant woman, who's not a celebrity, yet trying to run a business while pregnant.

You are describing the Halle/DDG 100% the way I see it. People who dismiss it as "people not minding their business" is a blind assessment of the situation. I think that everyone saying Halle hid her pregnancy for “peace” are wrong. She didn’t announce it but still wasn’t having a peaceful pregnancy. I think the pregnancy took away from Halle’s moments this year. That’s all people talked about when it came to her not her movie roles or music. I’m just too old for reality tv 😭 like nothing about the fighting and made up drama is worth it for me and it’s just horrible depictions of minorities. Best kept celebrity pregnancy (that I know of) is Katy Perry. She announced her pregnancy in one of her music videos, and she recently revealed her daughter’s face a couple months ago during her Vegas residency. Her daughter is three years old.

1. Halle's situation all stems from her being young. She's legally an adult but she's in her early twenties with her first public and serious relationship. We as women all have that one person who had us head over heels and dickmatized, even if they weren't the best match for us. Spending excessive time by him, with his family, not seeming to have much outside friends are all traits of loving on someone too much and this usually happens when the brain hasn't matured fully as yet. Even though older women do this, that doesn't mean they've matured mentally. I also agree that her and DDG are more alike than people think, he just shows his side more. The things he has done that has blown back onto Halle would've never been tolerated by someone with more experience with the world or a stronger sense of self but she probably doesn't even reprimand him because he's ''daddy'' or ''hubby''. We all know of established boss women who cut things off with their partners if they feel the slightest disrespect, it's because they know themselves and experienced enough already. Don't get me wrong, I really like Halle and I think she's cute with DDG but their relationship screams YOUNG LOVE but I wish them the very best of luck. 2. I never understood why CELEBRITIES get confused when people are interested in their life. You're entitled to privacy, of course, but your relevancy mainly stems from your marketability.
