A Walk Through A Past Manic Episode-Vlog

Published 2020-10-09
In this episode, I talk about the details of one of the manic episodes I've had which happened as a result of the fact that I live with a mental health condition called Bipolar Disorder.

In the manic phase of Bipolar Disorder, it's common to experience feelings of heightened energy, creativity, and euphoria. If you're experiencing a manic episode, you may talk a mile a minute, become extravagant or excessively generous, sleep very little, and be hyperactive. You may also feel like you're all-powerful.

And that explains how I was able to spend all the money meant to be used to pay for my graduation gown and not care about it.

Bipolar disorder is a mental illness that causes extreme mood swings which include emotional highs (mania) and lows (depression).

Its symptoms really affect sleep, energy, activity, judgment, behavior & the ability to think clearly.
