Since it's independence, it has produced one of the world's best cyclists, participating in both the Olympics and Tour de France.

Danni Anbesa ,your history and accomplishments speak for themselves, like a typical Eritrean you are a Man of few words.But in yhe history books about cycling,you will be remembered as the first BLACK African, to compete in tour DE France,in the top of it to win 4 stages of the coveted title "THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN' And this victory is not only yours but for all competing for some starting now, even for those Eritreans who are not born yet. you showed them if you work hard, it could be done in action,So thanks our humble hero for generations to come.We love and respect you.We are proud of you Danni.

w hat a prophecy and vision; the dedication by all concerned parties and individuals has brought the great dream into reality. As much as the individuals such as yoni, daniel, bini and others deserve the greatest recognition for their lion share contribution to the Eritrean success in cycling sport, the other parties such as the government and public also deserve due credit for their support and creation of conducive envirnment
