Can two micro:bits be connected wirelessly and serve as a remote?

Published 2019-04-27
Step by step tutorial for building a Micro:bit car and programming it for Remote Control with Micro:bit radio. On every platform the system is pretty much the same. Find out the pins for the motor and send the required motor power to them. Although in general I much prefer LEGO over soldering and screwing with Micro:bit, the little board has got it's charm. It's cheap and versatile.

Antonio this an excellent tutorial, thank you very much. Tell me if it is possible to do this with a micro:Maqueen?

hi does this thing work for the tiny bit? and is the powerboard similiar to batteries?
  • I am having trouble connecting the pins to the motor and what the arrangement would be. I do not have the same set up as your vehicle in the video.
  • Is there a site where you put a written version of the makecode you have used?
  • Hi Antons. Really great. I tried doing the same with the Microbit Maqueen robot, but the experiment didn't work so well. The robot only moves forward and stops constantly (trembles). It is possible to do this with a micro:Maqueen? Thanks.
