Battlefield 2042 is a Broken Disaster & Should've Been Delayed

What I remember about playing Battlefield 2042's beta is... is how broken it was... Also if you watched my Vanguard video then you know I thought Battlefield 2042 was gonna MURDER Call of Duty this year like they did with Battlefield 1. But... I could never have prepared myself for what I witnessed...

It's fucking hilarious how many people were defending this game when Act Man was exposing the bugs and glitches. Beta back then =/= Beta today. Nowadays a Beta is just early access.

Imagine taking player feedback after releasing a broken, unplayable mess that even the core gameplay doesn't slightly resemble previous games, and responding to it with "Your expectations are brutally unrealistic"

I'm convinced EA was making a battlefield Battle-Royale game, and they decided to change it last minute and turn it into a mainline entry in the series.

"The final product is more important than the launch project" - imagine if that logic were taken to any other industry. Restaurants. Movies. Automotive industry. Travel.

Turns out... it's still a mess, an absolute mess. As a 20 year veteran of the Battlefield franchise, this breaks my heart, but in a way it makes me laugh out loud because it is sooooo fuuuuuucking bad. The Patreon comment about the ladders fits perfectly, how dense you have to be to fuck up LADDERS!? I mean... LADDERS!?!?!?!?

I love it when people give criticism to a “open beta” that’s only days or a month before release and people who are missing their frontal lobe come at you with “it’s the beta” if this was a beta then they should released it months prior not just a few weeks before release. Betas are builds of the game that are playable to the public if developers deem so, but still at a point where it needs to be developed and so they should’ve released it way ahead of time to allow players to test and report bugs, glitches, and criticism. “Betas” like 2042 and halo infinite’s play testing are laughable to call beta.

I think the Hit Registration should not be Changed, it's beautiful really. It feels like your in Movie where everyone is shooting each other face to face yet the bullets somehow miss. It's beautiful, also rage inducing, but Beautiful.

To the people saying that "he hates battlefield", if someone criticizes something it probably means they want it to get better and care for it
