The Varla Eagle One V2.0 was recently released as an "upgrade" to the original. But is this new electric scooter actually worth the nearly $1700 price tag? In this video I'll try and help you answer that question for yourself.

Couple questions answered - from an original Eagle One owner though, not the V2: -The scooter, out of the box, does not have cruise control activated in the settings. -The acceleration out of the box is set to 3 out of 5. If you up the setting, the front wheel will definitely have enough power to spin out on you. -Yes, single motor does increase your range slightly, but it's not a super noticeable difference, and the extra wear on your rear motor and controller is likely not worth it. -I'm pretty sure the V2 has regen, but again, it's set to a very weak strength out of the box. If you set it to 4 out of 5 or up, the regen will give you enough stopping power that you won't even need your mechanical brakes for regular, non-emergency stopping. Hope this is useful to someone.

this review sold me on one i think. went on a group EV ride this past week with a loaner scooter and it was sweet, and i only ever went 18mph! I want a surron, but dont want them $5000 bad. this will be a perfect medium for me.

They sent me a broken scooter, and after contacting support, they sent me broken replacement parts. Im not sure why I expected quality from a Chinese company.

I bought this scooter partly based on your review. After about 50 miles of hard use I am very satisfied. I weigh 250 pounds and the scooter will accelerate to 25 mph going over high sierra passes (where I live and why I got this scooter). It will go too fast under any situation. Unlocking the acceleration setting makes it scary as it will spin both wheels on dry pavement. The manual says don’t change that setting and I see why. However— it is a setting! There is a big downside to this scooter and that is it’s terrible off-road. The suspension is way too stiff for gravel roads but might soak up big air landings—-which I won’t try. It came with TWO chargers, nice helmet, knee pads, phone caddy, tools, and very nice HEATED gloves! Unexpected but much appreciated.

Great video yeah I ordered it in July but Varla couldn’t get it to me by October also being tall the deck space is small so I refunded and got a Kaabo wolf king

Really hoping youll get the chance to test out one of the Nami scooters. Theyre the best in the market. The Klima which is their starter scooter puts this guy to shame while theyre Burn-E2 is an absolute beast. Then you have their Blast which is the offspring of the Klima and Burn-E of pure smooth comfy zooming around.

They have a wider 14" deck for the eagle v2.0 for $90. A nice upgrade for bigfoot

I purchased this exact one. I love my V2! It can handle a 24 degree incline near my house without a problem with my 225 lbs and not slow down!.

It's an upgrade from the Eagle One but I see no need to switch. The Eagle One is a great scooter with more than enough speed. These electric scooters have come a long way in 10 years.

Good luck with customer service. Been dealing with them for 3 weeks because the latch doesn't hook and can't access the P menu.

I ordered this thing back in July and never got it Varla keeps saying it’ll be another month since summer never giving me a straight answer awful customer service, also the 2.0 has a lot of voltage sag and a pretty large dead zone on the throttle, deck space is a little weird has a boxy shape like you say it’s quite small specially with the large handlebars don’t make it good for off-roading, overall good video but this scooter was not for me got a Kaabo instead and it checked all the box’s Varla didn’t.
