Ferrari has tested a new aerodynamic package at Fiorano which will make its debut next week at Imola, and it seems like the results have been quite promising for the Maranello team. The car looks totally different and while it does resemble some elements of the Red Bull RB20, a closer look does reveal that Ferrari has intepreted the design in its own unique way. With this in mind, what changes have Ferrari incorporated for the SF-24 with its latest upgrade package? And more importantly, are these upgrades enough for Ferrari to challenge Red Bull on a weekly basis?

The upgrades are aggresisve, but its not a Red Bull copy for sure. It looks good, hope its fast. And whats this about the Red Bull suffering from cooling issues. Hope thats not the case and we get a competitive field for race wins and podiums in 2024.

Just for clarification, no team is allowed to test aerodynamic parts out of a practice session, but if they want to film the car, then they can run the car outside of an F1 weekend with limitations
  • The upgrades are nice, overbite is the way to go it seems. I cant believe the Merc concept was actually right. Eliiot will be like, I told you so 😆😆😆

Lets hope these upgrades provide Ferrari with a winning car

When one compares the overall area of combined intakes on the Ferrari vs Red Bull, rollhoop air box included, you’ll see the former is not necessarily ’safer’. Hope it’s fast.

Ferrari sf24 latest upgrade could be challenge RB20. I think this one is stronger package, so entire the grand prix season. We hope more interesting races every single weekend.

It's a bit of a shame that the cars now look very similar. The three different concepts of the big teams were very interesting. I miss the pretty 2022 Ferrari nose. But no matter, Ferrari is steadily heading in the right performance direction. Master🅱️lan times are over. Vasseur has a real plan. I'm looking forward to Imola.

I dont like Ferrari but I'm starting to like Fred. He means business, and is a good team boss. Their drivers are great as well

I love it when the so called experts say that the package is "conservative", I found the SF24 at launch quite different to last year and said immediately it would be a good car. You cannot have a stable platform race in / out if you keep dramatically changing the platform ( like Mercedes did), because you just simply don't understand what the changes are doing. Also why have you not mentioned the elephant in the room - Mclaren I heard they went pretty good last time out...
