In 1914, shortly after the start of World War I, the Polish Legions were formed to fight for a sole purpose; independence. Battling against vast empires, the young, quick-witted legionnaires endured the onslaught of world powers to secure Poland's sovereignty. Follow Joseph, a deserter turned warrior, and Ola, an intelligence agent, through this tale of love and sacrifice in the face of great odds.

    A truly outstanding movie in every respect. My grandfather was a cavalry officer posted to Krakow where he and my grandmother were married. I was fortunate enough to have known them both and having been taught to be proud of my heritage.

    My brother, sister and I were save by a Great Polish lady who is a survivor of WW2 God Bless her ,God Bless all those Polish heroes a million thanks sincerely Jose Silva thanks.

    What a gorgeous tribute to the heroes of Poland's fight for freedom. I feel this was an incredible story within an actual documentary. Kudos to everyone involved within this film, the historians, the writers, the directors and the actors. Wow, any number of outstanding, no, stellar, performances. The interweaving and a good look at the soldiers and people of Poland was also well done. The film has left me with a good feeling about Poland and its people. Awesome movie. Watch it.

    What a great movie is the best I have seen so far ,Respect to all the men and women who fight for their freedom and their country. God bless all and each of them for there life .And may God wash over them for true courage and faith. The way they put their hands in God's will by making the sign of the cruz 🙏 . The actors give everything 👏the story and outstanding performance .❤❤❤❤❤

    Very good movie. On my dad’s side I am Irish. I found out later in life my mom’s mother’s dad was Polish. Not much was said about that side of the family. however as a kid, when my grandmother was alive, Polish music would be played. I wish my grandmother had said more about her family. All are dead and there is no one to tell the story.

    Incredible....i was crying and praying....Praying for all these Incredible people's souls....And for my country....which suffered So Much......May Noone take our freedom away.......Unfortunately the evil people want that very much....This time globally.....My heart breaks. May God help us....❤
