I remember sending you an email about this exact topic a while back. I’m glad to see the video finally out and you did an amazing job! Let me start by saying I 100% relate to what you said about always feeling that there was “unfinished” business between Pac and Jada. I believe they were at a point where they were genuinely considering building a life together but that last line was never crossed. It’s not uncommon for platonic friends to grow up and have those feelings morph into more. Another thing I found interesting was how Afeni specifically requested that Jada play the role of Katherine (the girl Pac ends up with) in his screenplay Live to Tell. You could argue this is a stretch but Pac said himself it was semi-autobiographical. It seemed that she always had a special place in her heart for Jada and believed that her and Pac would end up together one day. ”My mom never taught me how to cook. She taught my brother how to cook, and I happened to be in the room when she did it. She never taught me about being a woman. She taught Jada [Pinkett]. She was a loving mother to Jada, when they were in high school, I just happen to be in the room listening to that.” — Sekyiwa Shakur

Pac’s statement about him shutting down Jada’s marriage proposal because he felt that she did it ”out of pity” while his love for her was ”pure” was always quite interesting to me because there seems to be sadness behind the words. It almost as though he would’ve accepted had he believed she loved him the same way he loved her.

Will didn't want Jada near Tupac & Death Row... You know because of the reputation and probably her love for Pac... Maybe she felt like that kept her from making amends with Tupac over the argument they had... And he died suddenly before she got the chance to make things right...😥
  • @ladimu1

Sister Souljah was also friends with Will and Jada. They use to take family trips together and stuff. Jada was supposed to play winter in the coldest winter ever movie (that Never happened) I wonder if Tupac introduced them
