Today’s show is like sitting on the back porch in New Orleans just chopping it up with your uncles and reminiscing about the journey through the untold stories except we are in LA and it’s after midnight, but any chance to sit with Lil Wayne is one we make happen.

Reconnecting with his Louisiana roots, Ryan is excited to have Weezy join him, Fred and Channing to talk about life, lessons, losses and making music along the way.

Becoming one of music’s biggest icons over three decades, Lil Wayne says he’s never worked a day in his life because everything he’s done in music is for the love of it.
Storying his journey from starting at 7 yrs old to now, talking about the highs and lows of his career, sharing the untold stories, the ins and outs of life changing experiences, his time in prison, the night an off duty police officer saved his life and how he’s maintained and sustained success at the highest level in the industry all the while earning the praise and accolades from fans and his peers.

Never for the money and always for the respect, Lil Wayne Flashes back to childhood days of when he first started in music and reflecting back on how his mom and grandma supported him from day one not just to pursue music but more importantly to always be a good man and one he could be proud of.

This conversation is a side of Lil Wayne we don’t get to see very often as he let down his walls and opened up like never before.

I don't think people understand. Lil Wayne is raps first true child prodigy. He's been in the game at a star level since 13, then developed into a super star and the best in the game.
  • @TimeBucks
Perfect energy, comfortability with Wayne and perfect questions.
  • @reggiejackson4782
Wayne has gotten so much better at interviewing and actually sounding coherent I love this interview

Man I’ve never seen RC so excited for a episode ever! 😂 look like a kid in a candy store asking Wayne question he’s been waiting to ask for 20 years. Love it

So proud of the growth from the guys. They truly do their research and are invested in every guest they interview

As a cash money super fan since 98. This is one of Wayne’s best interviews. Ryan Clark is on it!

We have to acknowledge how healthy Wayne is looking! Glad he's taking care of himself.

I’m from New Orleans, I can’t tell you how important Wayne is to us and when growing up. Literally the 🐐… and not being bias!!

To me, Wayne has been, and will always be, The Best Rapper Alive. He's a true genius lyrically, and all ways 💯 I don't think that there will ever be another like him.

Man, so glad I got to experience Wayne’s career, and him as a human. Not one interview is a let down. Highly intelligent, raps first prodigy, and an all around awesome human being. It’s hard not to love Wayne. I never comment but I got to give him his flowers.
  • @truthhurts7529
Wayne actually answered all the questions even when given 2-3 at a time. Shout out to him for that as most people can’t retain 2 questions at a time.

You really just have to appreciate who Wayne, as amazing of a person as we know him to be, would not exist if it wasn’t for the people in his life who steered him in the right direction. From his grandmom, to his mom, to stunna, to the cop that saved his freaking life. We need a lil Wayne biopic.

Like all teens, even Wayne had it somewhat tough in NOLA, early 2000's. I remember going to college parties @ Dillard, Xavier, and Tulane University, and seeing him rolling up in his purple PT Cruiser, ALONE! The guys in college, envied and criticized him while still bumping his music. Wayne was young, but he just kept it movin' and was ALWAYS kind & courteous to females!

Being from Louisiana, I too had no idea other places don’t pin money on you for your birthday! I thought everyone did that! 😆
  • @jakilofromda242
The respect he put on Bird Man's name is so honorable and humble, especially after all the allegations. That's real💯
  • @lougreenwood828
Wayne the best rapper to ever put words together. Fight mehhh

This interviewed is a testament that you can’t judge a book by its cover
