Not religious, but this is always a beautiful song.

I'm not religious but this song has always tempted me. Mom's favorite movie since I was a kid so I heard it many times.

My father in law just passed away yesterday - his kids sang this too him in hospital. This song will always have a place in my heart.

My mom got baptized to this song at her now annual Lutheran women’s retreat.There was a small river at the site, so all the ladies sang and got some good pictures as she and our (female) pastor waded into the water.

Before I knew God as a confused kid in a Christian school, I used to listen to this song on my iPod nano and feel like I was religious. I know and Love and have a relationship with God for myself now, and I still love this song :).

I went down to the river to pray for this family of mine and all the abuse of violence in the world . Nov 1 2020
