My dad flew the 57 out of mini for many years. Im so glad I got to fly with him before his retirement. Such an incredible aircraft.

Been on many near empty 757's with an enthusiastic pilot, pinned to the seat then straight up to the top floor.
  • Runway 17/35 is the shortest one in use at MSP so you got some extra Hot Rod engine power on the roll.
  • And that's why it's called a 'rocket ship'!! Awesome catch of the shadow of the plane during ascent!! Thanks for sharing!! 💕✈️✈️💕

The last time I flew Delta, it was on an MD-88. They take off like a space shuttle due to the rear-mounted engines. It seems Delta is moving to all Airbus, it's rare to find a Delta Boeing plane.

Beautiful day for this takeoff. Not sure which engines sound the best... the Pratt's, or the Rolls. Both sound great! Thanks for very beautiful video of one of my favorite planes as well, and as others have said, enjoyed the shadow!

Love the 757 (except when seated in the WAY back of the -300 🙂). Still one of the best looking, best launching narrow-bodies in the air. LOL... great camera dip to pick up the 17 runway number on the taxiway!

    I love the 757. It's a great all-purpose airliner.

I flew on the first 757 that Northwest put into service on a flight from LaGuardia to MSP. I want to say around 1986. Unless it was just a new airplane, not necessarily the first 757 put into service by Northwest.

I flew out of MSP to ATL on N547US back in May! Great take off dude! 😁✈️

Yeah that shadow gives you a glimpse of just how fast that damn thing is moving.
