IDK why people argue that America does not drive on the right side of the road. We literally drive on the right side of the road. Lol.

The the US, yellow lines separate lanes of traffic going opposite directions. White lines separate lanes of traffic going the same direction. If the lines are white you can usually change to whichever lane you want, but you should stay to the right of a yellow line.

  • That was fun to watch !! I hope you enjoyed your visit. I hope to visit your country someday !!!

In the beginning he was going to turn left but found it was the wrong street. He then went to the next lane to go straight. In America you treat solid white lines as if they were concrete curbs. If the lines are broken, not connected you can cross over them. Double solid lines usually mean do not pass such as on a curve or going over a hill. Always stop short of crosswalks at a stop light. You must come to a complete stop before a stop sign. All items above can get you a fine from the police if they are in a bad mood.

Bravo! I thought you did very well. You actually get used to driving on the "wrong" side fairly quickly, which I discovered on a recent trip to the UK. What was more difficult for me was negotiating the roundabouts, some of which contained 8 or 9 exits. I had several "near misses". I think I prefer traffic lights and stop signs at intersections..

Been there done that! I'm from Aussie and drove in America a few months ago (First time driving on right side). It was freakin scary at first, but after a few hours of driving I was almost a pro and was fully used to it. The only issue that lasted a few days was that I would tend to drift too far to the right

Lol what's good about driving on right side of road is that there's rarely inner circles
  • This is gonna be me soon. God help my friend πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ looks a doddle! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

the yellow line is called the suicide lane because you can go on it and merge on the traffic lanes. its unlike australia you have concrete dividers in between
