I´ve tried several guitar amps over the years and came to the conclusion that I only need one (or more) Deluxe Reverb Amps :)

Would have been cool for you to have shown the actual amp and pedal settings. Thats a great tone would help many people get a close sounding round blusey tone. Very nice

Vovox cables , I tried them and I love the clarity they bring to the sound

Not only a great demo of this classic amp, but also tasty playing with the classic guitars side by side was cool-- the amp lets the personality of each shine through...complimented by your beautiful and melodic improvisation!

Lovely tone and tasteful blues chops! Liked ✅ Subscribed✅ Cheers from 🇦🇺mate!
  • Amazing! I only started learning guitar 7 weeks ago and I'm documenting my entire learning journey on here so as always, this is super motivational!

Some of the best playing and tone I've ever heard. Well done.
  • was für ein schönes Solo und was ein super schöner Ton - bei allen Pickup-Versionen. Es tut richtig gut, so tolle Songs zu hören. Danke Dir.

Mine is home built to the specs of the original per the schematic and the BlackVibe 6V6 by Rob Robinette. I LOVE the tone and natural harmonic distortion when using a Strat with dual rail Humbucker in the bridge. Love the work you do for us man. Please keep them coming.

Beautiful tones with all those lovely guitars. One day I aim to have one where I can play louder than whisper quiet.

PuIIing the trigger on a 64 Hand wired today. Iove my oId Super Reverb, but it's just too heavy to cart around for any but the gigs I can really turn it up. Nice playing by the way, beautiful tones.
  • Wow! About time someone realized this amp existed and was good for blues. How have we never realized this!!!???

I bought a small combo organ and a Fender Deluxe Reverb amp for $250.00 back in the late 60's, and man do I ever regret selling it!

I'm trying to get these tones!! Obviously, i get that it's mainly the way you play, but could you do a video of your guitar set up (335), rough pickup height positions, volume and tone positions. I found I'm getting close with lower pickup height positions, volumes around 3 and tone around 4 -5. Would be a great help to know yours? Thanks

I have a Deluxe Reverb 65 reissue too. But it doesn’t take overdrive or distortion pedals too well (to my ears) in the reverb channel at low levels due to the bright cap. Yours sounded good, so wondered what volume you were playing at. Important in this amp as the bright cap only affects the tone below a certain volume.

I'm in! Man, I love blues guitar. Of all the guitars you plied in this video the Strat was the rawest and prettiest at the same time! For you, does the playability of each different guitar change the feel and therefore the sound? That Les Paul was just Jimmy Page dirty. You got the Tele to tink only Teles tink. The semi sounded sweet and sad! Tom, I love blues guitar, thanks for this video.
