Never visit a country that people are trying to escape from.

They made three mistakes, A went to Mexico, B took a brand new truck, C wouldn't give up without a fight
  • I'm Mexican and let me tell you that that area is so dangerous, it's always important to be educated on what areas to avoid. I also feel ashamed of my country, these people have ruined it and keep ruining it for everybody.

Mexican here. I currently live in the USA as a legal permanent resident. My wife tries to get me to go to Mexico almost every year. And each time, I refuse. My dad used to work for law enforcement in Mexico in the 90s, and he never wants me to go because of how unsafe it is. I feel truly blessed to live in the šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø. Edit: I see Iā€™ve upset some of my fellow Mexicans. If you really believe that Mexico is just as good a country to live in, then why do you guys live here? The point of this comment is not to hate on Mexico, but to objectively point out the fact that the USA is a better place to live in. Thatā€™s just factsšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. No need to get upset over it šŸ¤”šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø. Yā€™all sound like all those Muslims who complain about living in šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø, while refusing to live in Islamic run countries šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
  • As a mexican I must warn people to stay away from here, do not come to Mexico or do it under your own risk, your safety is absolutely not guaranteed here.

THAT DON'T MAKE NO SENSE, WHY WOULD THEY BURN THE TRUCK AND TIRES IF THEY WANTED THE TRUCK OR TIRES.

How heartbreaking to lose two of your sons over nothing. Prayers for the mother and family on this Mother's Day.
  • To execute 3 people over car tyres makes zero sense thereā€™s more to this story
  • Their decision to drive around Mexico in search of a camping area was unwise. They underestimated the dangers.

Pro tip: do not vacation in Mexico. It is clearly not safe.

I love how murder is so rampant out there that they found 3 bodies that looked pretty similar to the ones they were looking for, but weren't really sure if maybe it was just 3 other murdered people

If I'm a surfer, Mexico is the last place I'm goin to catch a wave

Iā€™m a Mexican citizen, itā€™s a beautiful place, as much as brokes my heart to say it. Please for your safety DONā€™T come to Mexico. Itā€™s surpassed by organized crime, corruption, injustice and impunity.

I went way down in Mexico back in the early 70's. Spent 4 months traveling around. On the way back about 100 miles from the U.S. boarder, was stopped at a makeshift checkpoint along the road by a handful of federal military guys with automatic weapons. Made me strip down naked and threatened to put me in jail unless I paid them $300. Forced to sign over traveler checks or go to jail for 3 months. This took place in an old abandoned cement building along the road. I haven't been to Mexico since then and never will again. It's so much worse these days.

No it's not safe anywhere in Mexico. You go at your own risk.
  • Anybody who tells you that it's safe to travel in Mexico as a tourist is trying to sell you something

Iā€™m Australian and my heart broke hearing that the two Aussie surfers their American friend and the owner of the land were murdered. My heart goes out to all the families šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø
  • Mexican here. This is a dangerous country, don't believe the lies or half-truths of people who choose the politically correct approach instead of safety. We even have lynchings, for crying out loud, so it's not just the cartels.

Mexican here, I visit all the time, but I mind my business, I donā€™t wear flashy clothes or look for trouble, if you donā€™t have family in a certain area donā€™t go to Mexico
