Where have you been all this time Julia. One of the two TOP reactors and music analysts on YouTube today, so this is a great privilege to hear you again reacting on a Nightwish song. Yes Floor is in a class of her own ❤
  • Floor Jansen Have a amazing stage presence and a voice from heaven.😇🤘😇🤘
  • @Sir_Alex
I watched them live in December, she "just" had serious surgery and she still rocked like the queen she is ... I love this band so much ....
  • Watch when Floor starts descending from the D6..... smiling like a Cheshire cat.... like it's nothing!!!! My Queen!!!

Did you know...that Romanticide last part (Marko metal rap, double bass drumming etc.) was originally part of the Nemo song, but after a very long struggle they couldn't get it to work and they took it out. Tuomas have many times talked about how sometimes "you have to be ready to kill your darlings from the song" and this is one of those. After the struggles with Nemo, they put the Romanticide together and this part that didn't work in Nemo found its rightful place.

Julia is so excited with this song she doesn't have her usual whispery ASMR voice, she's just overtaken with infectious joy!

I know this is about singing and mostly about Floor but omfg do I love watching Jukka play with Nightwish. The energy he brings to the stage is fantastic.
  • "Damn. I don't want to necessarily keep repeating myself but....DAAAMN!" Describing Nightwish in a nutshell <3

As I’m not a singer, am a physician so understand anatomy and physiology as well as physics. Your use of anatomical discussions of how sounds and tones and timbres are produced is much appreciated. I’ve learned a ton about singing/singers from your channel. It has also allowed me to understand how Floor does the things she does vocally much better. She appears to be quite physically gifted by the singing gods…tall with strong core/back, lungs that appear to have > expected capacity, wide and large mouth with probably significant oropharyngeal space, skull shape also likely adds into her resonance and tone as well. She is the Secretariat of vocalists in that manner and that combined with her dedication to the craft and work ethic makes her the vocalist we all love. Wasn’t disappointed in the joy/amazement on your face with the slide at end 🤘. You’ve got a lot of catching up to do with some newer stuff from Nightwish and Floor both. This definitely brightened my work day so thank you.
  • @jorluo

  • @juantimer
Oh man. Need to go to bed, but Julia's premiering. Decisions. It's been a minute since Nightwish graced the channel!
  • Thank you for coming back to the Nightweish Army, Julia! Please cover Dead Boy's Poem from Buenos Aires.
  • @khrys3326
Yes I am so happy you are back with a nightwish video. I love your analysis of Floors vocals. <3 I would love to see you analyse their song "Devil and the deep dark ocean" from the buenos aires concert. I think it is very theatrical which I absolutely adore.
