Cultural Influences in Children's Play

Dr. Patricia Ramsey explains how children’s play preferences reflect the values of the cultures they are raised in. Children from a more individualistic culture may prefer to spend time alone, whereas children raised in a more collective, collaborative culture may emphasize inclusion and play in larger groups .
