Funny enough, this is how you get those laws taken off the books. Most of them only stick around because no one is challenging them (because they're irrelevant), but if a case is actually brought to court, there's a solid chance it'll be taken down if it is actually nonsense.

I can’t believe that Max could commit the heinous crime of carrying a plank of wood down the street
  • @comeberza
I like that Max calls himself a badboy while there are influencers literally breaking into homes
  • @geron243
To say "I am very impressed" without any facial expression whatsoever is a depiction of a British spirit
  • That policeman just slowly walking up behind Max is one of the most menacing things I’ve seen.
  • @arniclebarnold
Max is really living up to his status as international baddie

the fact that he casually opens and drinks an almost 300 dollar bottle of Bordeaux just to get drunk in the morning is such a wonderful joke detail for Somms

Outdated laws in America are pretty silly too. For example: If someone is crossing a bridge with a horse you must yield to it, but it is also illegal to ride a horse on the road. So even if someone was illegally riding a horse on the road, if you didn't yield to that illegal horse on a bridge, you'd also be breaking the law.

As a British person I can confirm that we don't get arrested for dragging our wood across the footpath.

This is the kind of law breaking that people like to see on youtube, making people and even the police laugh and not actually doing illegal things that ruin other people's day
  • @Gezajozsi
this is the type of law breaking/pranking that I appreciate... this is what jokes are actually like.
  • @BlastedJaxx
Crime is just too rampant man, we need to get these thugs off the streets!
  • @ZacAlsop
We truly are the biggest baddest boys in all the land x
  • @jgpatterson38
You should do this in new Zealand we have so many ridiculous/antiquated laws that the government has never bothered to change ,ie it is still illegal to swear in front of a female
  • That policeman approaching from behind at the end of the video like "Right, it's 10:01. Time to arrest these punks."

A penny-farthing is NOT 'self-propelled' One has to pedal it oneself to propel it. The law was for things like cars with engines, and it was repealed, so the first law was not broken. Dragging a plank is not the same as carrying a plank, and I thought that the law referred to long planks or planks carried by more than one person. The climbing a tree law was local to the Cornish coast and was for pointing out not 'a fish' but good spots for fishing to boats at sea, so this exception never applied to back gardens in London.
