I keep expecting the narrator to be all, "my Grandmother had planned ahead for the day the church would come for her resources, but she had cleverly used them to construct a hidden armada of spacefighters for humanity to be able to defend itself when the alien invaders finally arrived"

Imma be honest, I'm christian, and I don't even trust big churches. Some people are just not good people there. Most are in a position of power or related in some way. So you want a real connection, find something small, I mean really small. No more than a few dozen people. And do a background check on the pastor. If he asks for a donation for the church and you have nothing to give, and he still grills you, that's not a good church. You gotta test them a bit.

Back in 2014 I used to go to church every Wednesday and Sunday we always gave our 10% but then it came time that my job cut my hours and my then husband was not working so I couldn’t do it i had 2 kids and I pray God to understand i had to feed them and pay my bills most of my bills were late because I couldn’t give my 10% the church pastor started to preach about it and i took it personal he did it about 3 times in a few weeks, i decided not to go anymore and they kept calling me I didn’t answered and one day a group of the church were knocking at my door i opened it and said, good evening i’m not interested closed the door didn’t let them speak
