Trust me, I wasn't expecting this just as much as you weren't!!!! I was organizing my folder full of sheets that I have in store for future YouTube videos, and I just couldn't find Howl's Moving Castle Theme. In my search for Howl's Moving Castle Theme, I came across a bunch of my old Zelda sheets from 2006-2007. Of course, if you know me, I had to stop and play some of this just wonderful music from Koji Kondo. Let's be real here, The Ocarina of Time, is one of the all time greatest games, EVER, and tied for first as my most treasured video game. This game was such a tremendous journey, with splendid tunes throughout, and a plot that leaves you in awe. That being said, I played through a few of these sheets I had just found, and bingo, the inspiration came. Just at that moment, I vigorously jotted down a list of Zelda pieces on a piece of paper. This would be the order of this Medley. Afterwards I quickly taped up all of the sheets, and set up my camera and lighting within 5 minutes. Within about 10 takes, this video was recorded. Now..... don't ask me how this is possible, as I don't know, but I can tell you that I knew all of these pieces very well before hand, and it was just a matter of lacing them together in a methodical, and passionate manner. It was truly a wave of unexpected musical inspiration that lead me to record the longest Medley I have ever recorded? Anyway, I really need to feed these kitties, they are bugging me (you will notice them running around in the background fighting each other!)

Please enjoy this video-- all of the support truly helps. If you like this video, share with friends!

Your Pianist,
Kyle Landry

P.S. It's about time for my annual run through of this game! Ahhhh!!!

I played piano for most of my childhood and then fell away for about a decade and lost most of my mind while I was at it. I became a raging alcoholic, had multiple DUI's, was severely depressed and saw no way out. I saw this video one night 2 years ago and burst into tears. Ocarina of Time is my favorite... So I bought a digital piano the next week and started putting the pieces of my life back together. I have been a huge fan ever since. I don't drink anymore, I got back on track, but most of all the motivation instilled from this arrangement has brought me to the piano every single day, sometimes for hours on end. I can't thank you enough. Hope to see you in San Diego one day. Thanks +kylelandry

Amazing. Absolutely Amazing. I have been deployed 3 times, and within those deployments I have lost good friends. I have seen stuff most people will never see in their life. I've been to 9 different countries and experienced some beautiful and terrifying events. Even through what I've experienced, THIS is what brought me to tears. It reminds me of days when life was simple. When all I cared about was playing games and hanging out with friends. This kicked me right in the nostalgia. Kyle, I've been following your stuff since you posted the Gerudo Valley duet and I'm always blown away by your performance. If you ever have a concert in San Antonio, you can bet I'll be there.

10:13 I literally cried. Like, I'm not exaggerating I actually cried. Flawless performance, never heard a rendition of "Fairy Fountain" as good as this one.
  • The best version of Gerudo Valley I ever heard. Also I couldn't believe my ears when you played the Fairy Fountain theme, this was incredible. Standing ovation from my computer seat.
  • @Mewz123
9:28 - 10:34 is my favorite part, not because of the song...but the way it is played. But, let's be honest...the entire thing is awesome. :)
  • @Sl4izer

I have slept to this literally every time I’ve taken a nap for the last 1.5 years. Almost 5 times a week. I’m trying to learn this myself and this video is my number 1 favorite on YouTube. Absolutely magical.
