Salmon Run, or as I like to call it: Chase Scene Simulator

hello, eggsecutive here. while this run was close and the save was nice... it could have been entirely avoided. 1st, use your specials, especially if your on wave three, if you have specials remaining at the end of your shift youve done something wrong. remeber, its better to use a special to prevent a situation from getting worse, than to try and get yourself out of a situation thats already REALLY BAD 2nd, eggs first, eggs last, eggs always and forever, you are SUPER close to finishing quota with eggs already on the field, while flyfish and stingers are annoying, you also have one of the worst weapons for dealing with both (gootuber and chargers in general arent that good for this) focus eggs first, once quotas reached, then its murder time 3rd, this is actually something that i recommend all salmon run players do and you did brillantly, DONT KILL FLYFISH, the game will send alot of these at you thats its better to "cripple" them, only three of any boss can be active at once, simply destroy one of the weakspots and LEAVE IT BE. one more fun fact, if everyone dies and a splatbomb or killerwail is active, the game wont end till the splatbomb explodes or the killerwail ends. however this is not true for wavebreaker good luck fishing salmon runners

In Splat 2, players didn't register as being downed until the entire drowning animation played all the way out; if you had full quota, were the last player up, had less than about four seconds left on the wave, but were cornered by a group of salmonids who would definitely splat you in less time than that, it was fairly well known that you could leap into the water to run out the clock. Sadly for salmon runners, this was changed in Splat 3, and isn't as viable of a play anymore.

From hindsight, there was no need to jump to the other side at 0:05. A standing bomb throw can easily reach flyfish from the ledge But it was a nice save in the end anyway

That works cause bombs count as players so if you throw one and die with all of your other teammates are dead the game still treats you as if you were alive

Splatoon devs be like : Let’s make splatoon 3, 3x more stressful.

Wave 3, 30 seconds left, two flyfish and a stinger, and doesn't use killer wail. Found one of my SR coworkers. 🐟
