Wow. The Natasha Denona looked the best of them all which I would not have expected and then I saw the Fenty. The last two foundations looked spot on, on you. I would love if your mom tried them all and you could give us a report on that.

I had never used a cushion foundation before I purchased the TIRTIR Mask Fit Red Cushion Foundation (in 15C). I love it 🥰 It doesn't oxidize on me, which is nice since so many foundations do. I always use a primer (which may help with that). I wore it to our son's graduation last week. Surprisingly, it lasted ALL DAY. We had to stand outside in the heat and humidity for quite some time, waiting for the venue doors to to open and you would never have known it by the way this foundation STAYED PUT. Now, as a "lady of a certain age", I find a matte finish just looks better on my skin. So, I purchased the matte version in the pink compact (in 17C Porcelain). It's LOVELY! One MASSIVE drawback though is it only comes in THREE shades, essentially: very fair, light, and less light 😂
  • Just in case anyone is interested! Robert Welsh just did a tutorial on how to apply the TirTir cushion foundation - it was really good - especially as he gave great tips on how to use the sponge it comes with and how to apply it ... just thought I would put it out there!! Personally I think I'll pass on this one for the time being as I never wear full coverage foundation but I could see how peeps my want more coverage for an event or something. xxx

I liked the Fenty on you looked really lovely. I am currently using the Revlon Serum Tint and loving it but I am mid 60's & find the texture so nice for my skin & it looks good all day. Liked the suggestion someone made about trying the foundations on your mum😁

I love the Fenty foundation. I bought it while I was travelling in the States and it looked so nice in all climates. I loved that I could sheer it out or build it up depending on what I was doing.

Great video, very tempted by the Fenty. Would also be interested in seeing how your lovely mum fares with these. xx

I just got the TirTir. Wearing it today for the first time! It’s amazing 🙌🏽! And I’m very particular too! I’ve worked out in it so far, and ran errands out in the heat all day. Ate greasy cheeseburgers too.

I prefer a medium to light coverage so the trick I've found with the Tir Tir is if I can feel it going on, I'm using too much. I also go in with a foundation brush immediately after application to blend out and diffuse. As someone old and dry, it's definitely not my favourite, but it is workable with a light hand.

Natasha has shown a video where she advises you 'pat' the product in, unlike bare minerals where you swirl and Jane iredale, where you swipe. Of course we're all find what works for us but I thought I'd just say 🤔
  • I love that 2 were in compacts. I travel and needed some recommendations

I’m 53, combo skin & absolutely loving the ND powder foundation, I have a very strict skincare regime, serum, oil & moisturiser 😂 & apply it with a large velour puff, don’t like a full coverage foundation, so this is perfect & having just returned from Budapest it’s been ideal for travel , quick, easy, love it 🥰
  • @jackiereid1310
THANK YOU Jemma! Great video. I have, and love, the ND powder foundation. But that being said, I am going from this video straight to Sephora on line to order the Fenty!
  • @ChrissieSM
Gemma, you look beautiful! I love this type of foundations comparisons.
  • @samc5877
Ooh! Im so excited to be here first! ❤ I've been waiting for your thoughts on the Tirtir, and how to shade match, so thanks for including it 👍🏼
  • @sagebeauty
Thanks Gemma. Great foundation roundup, as usual. I have been eyeing the ND powder but may wait until warmer weather returns here (going into winter here in Australia). It’s also very expensive… The FENTY one sounds just right for me too, I love Fenty complexion products so I’m not surprised it’s good.
