Every single character in Kinnikuman is a absurd Stereotype, including Terryman and Wolfman (The sumo wrestler) but it’s the absurdity that makes us love this series.

So, this is how the characters get introduced in the Choujin Olympics Arc. Past that, the caricature aspect falls off and every last one of these walking stereotypes become amazing characters. Yes, even Ramenman who was made out of a direct mockery of China. Dude becomes a Yoda who overcomes a terminal brain injury to keep kicking ass. Kinnikuman’s pretty amazing.

One of my formative memories was watching Ramenman literally fold Brockenman in half in the ring, then fold him again, and again, and again, so many times that Brockenman became noodle dough. He then sliced the dough up and cooked it in a soup and proceeded to eat the nazi noodles. He just ate a guy in front of everyone. In a later arc Brockenman's son tries to get revenge on Ramenman but they become close friends. This isn't really something meant for the human mind to comprehend. I watched Ultimate muscle as a kid and thought Jaeger was cool, but his dad, Brocken Jr., was kind of nazi looking. He was nazi looking because his dad was a literal nazi who was folded over a hundred times and eaten by a caricature of a Chinese man. The wally tusket and dik dik van dik were perfectly normal compared to og Kinnikuman.
