Same cycle, same types of stains, same amount of stains, same detergent… Candy reaches 75°C, Bosch 86°C+. Candy mainwash was A LOT shorter. They are close, but stains are LESS visible after Candy.. suprising😅 Most because it doesnt heat as much as Bosch!

Knew I could count on candy! Awsome video!
  • I actually want to do a similar test against my Bosch serie6 and Samsung series5 i somehow think it will be interesting as they seem to wash pretty good
  • i thought bosch's performance doesn't compare to anything else (lol). i might have to do something similar between my machines. if i can find 6 identical pieces of old fabric

I think if you would choose a stain option on Bosch it would wash better

I wonder whether the better results in the Candy weren't because it spent longer in the optimum temperature range for the enzymes to break things down? I've always liked Candy. They are really easy to use, aesthetically pleasing and clean well. Unfortunately, their life expectancy is poor. Bosch is much better built. I would have expected more from the Bosch, to be honest. Perhaps the default dwell times at optimal stain removal temperatures were badly chosen by the manufacturer for this program?

Would you be able to test this with a 4D model Bosch? I am wondering the results.

Great video I thought maybe to put in with other items to agitate the loads better and use dedicated stain settings on each if applicable ❤

Can you also do a stain test with the WA65205?

I do like your candy. I’m thinking I could own as next washing machine :)
  • Didn't expect anything else... But the newer Serie 6 washers are (way) better especially the 4D wash versions!
  • Great video! I thought next time You should do the same test with a bigger load, cause the agitation on this washers change A LOT between a small and a medium load. Bye!

I’m planning on doing a similar test on my machines the 1999 Novotronic Miele and the 2014 top load Electrolux made Simpson. Test will be done at 40C on Short cottons in Miele which has similar wash cycle length to my Simpson normal cycle. warm/hot which is around 40C. But for it to be realistic I’m going to have a decent load not 1 item I never wash just one item unless it’s a quilt or thick blanket.
