I remember listening to your advice about starting a podcast 2 years ago Pat. Now I have a global brand, a new income and so much more , all from a simple podcast. I will never be able to repay the gratitude I have towards all your help, not just for me but the thousands of others you inspire . #teamflynn.

Wow... i so needed to hear this. I just need to hit record. Get out of my head and just do it
  • I love how authentic and compassionate you are in helping people.
  • Under employed? Become a journalist/broadcaster overnight. Do your local area news/sports. Start by reading headlines from local papers. Record council meetings, local school sports. local lore. Sell local ads. People like local stuff. Parents like to see their kids at games. Start small, get big. Potential is very high verses investment.

  • Hi Pat DjSkoob here. Great advice. Your right about meeting new people and learning new thing everyday. Ive met you, other supportive podcasters, and more! Its an amazing journey that i started with you as my teacher. You all have the abilities to start something amazing like me, like Pat you just need to start! I Can, I Am , I Will , And im doing it TODAY!!
  • 100% Thanks Pat! I think another huge crucial point in making sure that a podcast is successful is making sure you connect with your niche. It's very hard to get traffic to your podcast and even if you do try paid ads, one of the best thing you can do is actually engage with your community. Put links to your podcast in all of your social profiles and connect with other podcasters, podcast guests, comment on other people's comments, etc. Besides paid traffic, this has been one of the biggest contributions to my podcast's growth.

You are SUCH a teacher to us. My wife and I are in preproduction for our podcast on sexuality&relationships. We've compiled 55 podcast topics for episodes, have interviews recorded, and are settling on the right structure. As soon as we move into our new home this weekend we are beginning our episode recordings! Your channel is one of our main sources of advice & learning and we thank you for it!
  • I started my podcast 5 years after watching your videos. Timid yes, But thank you for all of your episodes, you helped me commit through constant informative content. Thank you Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Already after the first 4 episodes I have had 14 people reach out to be on.! it is shaping itself, because I started. YOU RULE Pat. You are a Mentor!

  • I think we failed as a podcast. We we sold everything we owned in the USA and moved out the country. My family have been living abroad for 4 months now and don't think we're going back. We're vlogging our journey on our channel. Thanks pat for another awesome video. You truly are an inspiration to many of us amateurs!

    1. Understand who’s for 2. Write down until episode 25 3. Pitching to others, to connect and figure out. 4. Busssprout (?) 5. Start recording, you learn on the go.
