I can't help thinking it was a resident who drained the lake last week. They must have had the first peaceful weekend in a long time! I'm no snowflake but some driver's behaviour is just dangerous, slight gradient, slight bend, wet roads, excess speed and kids within feet of them, it will happen one day and people will be surprised. Anyway, rant over. I hope it rains soon and we can get back to deep water and a different type of idiot.

The ford needs a couple of simple, cheap and maintenance-free speed bumps, one on each side, so that we can keep enjoying the deep water idiots, but get rid of the speeding idiots.
