Anyone else here after Vance's VP nomination? Amazing to see how real human experience transcends the political divide. I wonder what Ron Howard things of the nomination.
  • Congratulations JD!! A truly GOOD man. You're gonna be an AMAZING Vice-President!! We are so proud of you. 💯💪🙏🇺🇲🙌
  • I watched this movie years ago. Today I am re-watching after JD Vance was nominated for VP. A powerful movie with a relatable story.

I’m currently in the United States Marine Corps and also have lived in Ohio my entire life. I am currently studying prelaw with hopes of attending law school someday upon getting out of the corps. I have never seen a film I’ve related more to in my entire life. This film was spot on and extremely relatable to the point where I cried from it.

I loved this movie. It's all about the "glue" that holds us all together--love, dedication to family [always] that transcends all socio-economic levels. When Mammaw said, "I'm all you got!"; it really turned the light on!!

I was moved to tears at the powerful role memaw played when her daughter dropped the ball. It was extremely relatable if you come from bad choices but a strong familial bond. I would recommend watching this movie. It's a must see for those who need to learn compassion for others esp their own wayward family members. Some give up too soon on their own children & write off their grandchildren instead of fighting for their less-than-perfect offsprings. 5 out of 5 🌟
  • This is hilarious.....they'd never treat JD Vance this nice now!😂😂😂😂😂

Read the book, and was surprised to see it was already a movie. Glen Close should be nominated for an Academy Award.

Such an amazing film with extremely strong performances across the board. Hope it gets the recognition it deserves. Thank you for sharing your story, J.D.

Critics like Journalist have lost all credibility
  • Love Ron Howard who is always gracious even when critics slash his work.

Watching this tonight, yay 😄 our next VP is impressing me more and more
  • I just watched this movie on Netflix and found it to be a really good, and inspirational story. It gave me great respect for JD Vance and makes me believe he is exactly what our country needs as the VP for President Trump. For decades our poor and underclass have been looked down upon and politicians have done little to improve these people opportunities for any kind of meaningful upward mobility. The USA is great because of its people and not just the elites who feel they are better than everyone else.

Yes, I find this movie authentic living in the Cincinnati - Kentucky area for almost 20 years and renting out to people. I've seen all the drama, domestic violence because of the people trapped in poverty and addictions around here.
  • @paf2587
Such a good film. I cried so hard towards the end.

Does EVERYTHING have to be political? Strong family is political? Family support is political? I have a MIND OF MY OWN. This movie was OUTSTANDING! Do NOT, NOT, NOT listen to these biased puppet critics. This movie was REAL, HONEST & TRUE TO MANY LIVES. The Oscars are a joke. You'll NEVER see a moderate win ever again! GO SEE THIS MOVIE. IT'S A 10!
  • Beautiful young man! 🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
