Branzy: “I followed all the laws, I didn’t brake any rules!” Also Branzy: arrests entire town while not a police officer, owns weapons while on parole, and breaks tons of zoning laws about farming and animal management

If you take the villagers crops, but sell them back to the villagers, they are just paying you for your labor. Which is actually helping them out a lot because of how long it takes for them to farm, versus how quick the player can.

And here I was waiting for you to bring up the zoning laws which prohibit you to live in your shed, prevent you from growing crops, determine setbacks (aka can't build right up to the border of the chunk), limit the number and type of animals you have, and much much more.
