Rewatching this 2 weeks after KU beat UNC to win the 2022 national title. 14 years was a bit of a wait but Self got our boys to load the wagons and win it all again. Hope we get another one of these recap videos. Rock Chalk.

Who’s Watching After Jayhawks Beat UNC?

Love this Rock Chalk so glad I got to watch this
  • The 2022 Jayhawks are not as close as talented as these guys are but they flew under the radar all year long. That 2008 team was special. 38 wins! Most in the history of the program. Beating two #1 seeds to win the title in a year where all #1 seeds made the final four. Greatest tournament ever! That Baylor game where Ku scored 100 without hitting a 3 was a barn burner!

I know my Jayhawks are struggling right now but they will be a better team next year.

Mason, Crissy, Cindy and I were living in Lawrence in 2008. GLUED to the edge of our seats watching the game. When Mario hit that game winner we went nutz! Cindy, Crissy and Mason hopped into Cindys car to head down to Mass. Mason was standing up, through the moon roof, waving our KU flag. I'll never forget that night.
