I bought this one mainly for Blaster Master, but I've been playing Blaster Master Boy more than any of the others on this cart.
  • Sunsoft were GODS on the NES. They knew some serious ASM 6502 voodoo... And their soundtracks were always so freakin' good, too. Easily my favorite third-party dev on the NES.
  • Good one. I broke this open for a video last week. The games are pretty good, with some exceptions Definitely worth $20 for the 3 I like Aero is OK. Good physics by really difficult Arabian - A nice little game. Nothing Special Mr Gimmick - Hate it. Too much restarting at he same place Blaster Master - Awesome Blaster Master Boy - Very good, but more like Bomberman Journey To Silius - My kind of game!

Mr Gimmick looks great. Silius is good. I liked Arabian arcade version. Blaster Masters are always great. Aero, it's not the worst 90s platformer but it's pretty dull. Not a bad collection overall.

Good video and review of the Sunsoft Collection 1 for the Evercade! Games look interesting and fun!

Nice review, though not mentioning the extraordinary soundtrack of Journey to Silius is a bit of an oversight. ;-)

Journey to Silius is definitely on the list of games I don't think I beat as a kid, but want to take a crack at again :-)

The only reason to buy this cartridge, sadly, is the possibility that it will unlock some other game (as a hidden / secret bonus) when combined with some other cart. I actually do worship Sunsoft as one of the greatest software developers of all time, but there is just no reason to play these NES ROMs on the Evercade.

They should have had the arcade port of Kangaroo, Waku Waku 7, Tough Turf, or even Ikki (arcade or Famicom version) instead of Arabian or Aero The Acrobat. Heck a translated port of Albert Odyssey who be wonderful. Too bad the vast majority of Sunsoft's games are licensed titles they did very few original IPs.
  • @VEGANVANIA
Imagine if Sunsoft had put as much effort into this cart as the remake of Duke Nukem 1 + 2 (i.e., the IBM platform games) instead of just dumping the ROMs on a cart, without the slightest adjustment or bugfix.
  • @JohnnyProctor9
If Sunsoft is going to be putting out unreleased games on these, could we get Sunman on the next one?
  • @MrTripcore
The boss at 4:00 is a copy of a boss from nes robo warrior
  • @MrSerpico145
So far, without rapid fire option available, the only two carts I like are Renovation and Worms.
  • @VEGANVANIA
Aero the Acrobat is a legit zero out of ten: it would have been a terrible game (with terrible music!) on an 8-bit system, and I can only judge it more harshly as a part of the 16-bit era.

Lacklustre selection, wouldn't be as high on my list
