Goodwin, it seems like even when there are two-goal wins on aggregate or in a single match, you still call them 'battering', 'annihilation'. Another thing I want to say is that sometimes the point gaps don't really reflect how seriously good you are, you can get away with a low points tally and still win the league. What if I told you that Manchester United won the league in the 1996/97 season with just 75 points, the same points tally with Arsenal in the 2016/17 season but a 5th-placed finish?
