Top 25 GREATEST MLB Teams In HISTORY..

Welcome back to Sports Dive. Narrowing down the top 25 MLB teams of all-time is mainly made up World Series winners, but a few teams put together strong seasons and fell short. We dig back 100 years into baseball history, and a lot of teams are going to miss the cut. We also have a lot of dynasties where teams were great for long stretches of time, yet to diversify a bit we will break those teams up a bit. Wins, offensive stats, and pitching stats dictate how we rank teams, and also some added star power for bonus.

You can't go by just one year. The best team ever was the New York Yankees of the 1950s who in that decade made the World Series eight times and won six of them: ’50, ’51, ’52, ’53, ’56, ’58 🙂

I am not an A's fan but the A's of the early 70's were awesome.
  • The Big Red Machune of 1975-76 is unmatched. And where is the 1984 Tiger's team that was 35-5, won 104 games and was 7-1 in the post season.
  • @alexvoigt9204
The 1984 Tigers would like a word, as would the 1930 Philadelphia Athletics, the 1906 Cubs and the 2016 Cubs

“The Mets defeated the Orioles in five games to win the World Series and then swept the Braves in the National League Championship Series.” Really? I didn’t know they played the World Series before the NLCS.
  • I'd have to put the 1994 Cleveland Indians on this list. Their offense was lethal for one thing. Of course Cleveland's bad luck continued when the season ended with a strike.🤬

How did the Oakland Athletics sweep the San Francisco Giants in 5 games in the 1989 Nay Bridge World Series? In fact, how does any baseball team sweep another in 5 games? *See best of 7 Series or *The first to 4

Your picture of Cincinnati Reds 1976 Ken Griffey was actually a picture of his son Ken Griffey Jr.
  • @ickcubs102
Having the 89 A's on here is enough for me to move onto the next video, plus u mentioned dave parker instead of Jose canseco

Talked about the 75 reds but doesn’t bring up Bench? As a reds fan Bench is the legend of the team with Pete. Hard to leave out the best catcher ever. Yes he is the best catcher ever.

1986 mets. Everyone else is an afterthought.
  • @slmrcs
This is made by AI got Ken Griffey mixed up with his son.
