Metal Slug 7 - Full Speedrun HARD No Death [Fio - 29 Mins]

You know Metal slug 3 was officially going to be the end of Metal Slug franchise as SNK got bankrupt following the completion of Metal Slug 3 production. But then it continued however with new people working on Metal Slug 4, 5, 6, 7 and XX which were not the same as the original Metal Slug, 2, X and 3. But according to metal slug year history in game, 6 comes next after 3 and you see after the venusians are finished, the rebels and for the very first time, the mars people/martians/octopus aliens became allies with the regular army. Then 4's events take place and the rebels are working with Amadeus syndicate then 5 come after this and there are no rebels, no aliens, no mummies, no zombies, no sasquatch, no swordsmen etc instead it's some awesome heavy looking ptolematic infantry who have stolen a metal slug information disc and they are using it to make perfect powerful upgraded regular army metal slug vehicles and also rebel army vehicles too. Then 7 and XX take place and that is completely the end of the story as we see the regular army have won and they save Morden and 3 rebel soldiers who are then saved by Mars people and then we see in the end that the heroes (Marco, Eri, Tarma, Fio, Ralf, Clark, Leona), the rebels and the aliens are going forward for war together as the 3 groups have all formed a peace treaty and have become allies and friends together which is now "PEACE FOREVER". So there won't be a Metal Slug 8 and this franchise is concluded and now people these days are currently playing Metal Slug (Defense + Attack) on their mobiles, ipads, tabs etc which contains all content from the metal slug games to play and war. A new game by tencent, Metal Slug Code J, is coming to our mobiles probably this year or 2022.

Ah Metal Slug, one of my favorite games to play since ever. I'm planning on getting Anthology and Double X for my PSP in the near future.

So a small skip I discovered which you might already know. At 28:24 if you self destruct the vehicle, I believe the timing is after the screen stop moving but before the enemies spawn. You'll actually only get the soldier on the left to spawn and no one else. And then you can proceed past that section which in my run saved a bit of time. But you have to do the next parts without the plane.

i really like metal slug its one of the games i played as a kid.

7/XX is so underrated, it's pretty much on par with the first trilogy and is infused with a bunch of new ideas, especially those on-rail segments (the literal rail, the elevator, that boulder chase...)

MS 6 and 7 have strange background, look like prerendered images. I wonder if there are artists capable of creating a Metal Slug like the first ones.
