The one thing about Supertramp is they had a sound all their own, you could never confuse them with anyone else. I remember this album like it was yesterday, I loved the cover art and used to look at every detail of it while listening to the album. What a great time to be alive.

Played this song for my girlfriend when she was 18 as she was going through a rough time, the words just resonated to her current state of mind, she was blown away by the song and it still one of her favourite bands, we married 2 years later and still going strong for past 44 years.

This is the song that really got me hooked on Supertramp and Hodgson, I have been listening to all their music daily, almost exclusively, for 2 years now. Boston had been my favorite band, but with my new found appreciation of Supertramp and Hodgson's solo work, Supertramp is the best ever.

One of my friends was 18....and he went to see Supertramp at some Miami playhouse in 1975....3 days in a row....and he is still raving about they're performances all these years later❤❤❤❤😊

Hard to imagine producers, managers, etc. letting a band play a 7-minute, emotionally-fragile song on TV like that today - even if it was on at midnight. The sunshade looks like this was from the Crisis What Crisis promotion even though Hide in Your Shell was from Crime of the Century.

Absolutely brilliant! My favourite Supertramp song and it sounded just like the record. Just a shame Hodgson and Davies had their differences that could not be overcome.
