This was the best interview so far. Dude seems chill and intellectual. He also wasn't trying to front and hype Compton up in front of the camera which was my favorite part. Great content, Charlie.

Compton was never a ghetto. It was a suburb that black people in south central LA went to so that they could escape the ghetto. The mentality came to Compton and it just followed.
  • Finally Charlie found a decent person to interview! Wyz Propane was the only person to know who the mayor of his city was. He didn’t smoke a spliff in between answers and he actually knew what was going on around him.

Compton looks pretty nice tbh. Not even bein sarcastic. Compton’s worst days are far behind

My childhood friend lives there now. He's now a Crip. Boy, have our lives taken an opposite turn.

I respect him, and others ,as I’m sure, at least they can speak fluent English and hold a conversation.

My dad from East LA. I went over there this passed summer to see how he grew up and how he lived his life in LA. That was probably the most crowded area of California I have ever been in. I asked my dad I said “was it always like this all crowded and stuff” he said no then he said “but that was 20-30 years ago times have changed” but anyway it was cool to see where him and his friends and family grew up. My dad grew up poor so he had to walk everywhere he went and the hills there are sooo steep I was like dang you walked EVERYDAY ? 😂

I lost a friend of mine 12 years ago to gang violence in Compton. I met her here on youtube and weeks later she was killed. Shot dead in her own driveway. One of the saddest days of my life!!! I'm glad things have calmed down out there. 🙏🏿💯

Thanks for the revisit in Compton. I was working in LA in the 80s. It was a lot different then. Good to see it has calmed down.👍🏻 ❤️
