i think Rick has learned how to guest star in a talk show. he doesn't talk too much and only gives short important details because he knew for sure he'd get interrupted anyway.

It’s really late at night and I thought my brain was hitting the woah when I read the title and saw will ferrell sitting there. I thought my brain was reading the wrong name until I realized that he was in character. I thought I was losing my mind completely there for a moment It happens when you’re not familiar with the character. In a world where I would’ve known, this wouldn’t have happened
