Idk why this video is popping off again, but hello new viewers :D I make war thunder videos, they’re kinda okay sometimes. Check them out :P
  • This BR has the most interesting prop planes but a proper battle is barely even possible
  • @Sultan-cf5wf
The 6.0 bracket is broken for everyone because it's so boring. Also 288 spam.
  • I swear they gotta limit the amount of attack/bombers on each team even more
  • @up32615948
That's why I love F4U-4B so much at this BR range. Ju 288s run away in the late game? No problem, a quadruple 20mm can kill majority of the ground targets with any belt, bleeding their tickets. They come back? No problem either, the same quadruple 20mm will get the job done within a few seconds. Yes, as a German and Italian fighter main, I personally hate Ju 288 to the core, and I feel satisfied to shred them to pieces in F4U-4B. I wish Gaijoob would limit bombers per match to 2, only if they cared about this BR range.

BR 4.7 is the sweet spot right now. 5.0 gets up-tiered into this terrible BR. If they'd nerf the Ju-288 just a bit since it never actually flew it might be more tolerable.
  • Every game I play at 6.0 I pray that there is no Ta152 squad against me. They are just never not 2+ km above everyone else.
  • After scoring over 3,000 hours in this game, I can say that the P-51H is the best prop in the game without a doubt. It out-turns EVERYTHING you come against except for the bi and me-163 obviously, it's guns are quite good considering it takes down fighters in short sprays and bombers light on fire with just a few bullets, I've hit mach 0.9 in a dive before so it's quite fast in that aspect, it's WEP is powerful enough to pull you through a 25 degree climb at 190mph, and it has ammo to fight the entire lobby and then some. It can even get fully up tiered and still give the jets a run for their money, no questions asked. The H has been the best prop in the game for as long as I've been playing without a single doubt. Don't let any negative words about this plane convince you to not play it.

Takeoff flaps are really good for that low speed stall fight regime you find yourself in vs jets. Plus using the rudder to snap roll is a good counter to a scissors
  • @pumba9393
And then there's the Spitfire Mk24 at 7.0 getting up tiered to 7.7 every match (:

Call me crazy, but when they added the 288c it signified the death of 5.7 - 6.3ish BR air rb Full bomber teams with like 3 fighters is just sad. Before the 288c, 5.7 Ger ARB was like the creme de la creme of WT (for me, anyhow..) now its just prem garbage
  • @13deadghosts
You could say the same thing about the F2G spam. Just endless hordes of F2G's. But honestly i can't even be mad at the 288 players. It is practically the only way to still get reasonable amounts SL with how much the have nerfed the economy. If they just improved the overall SL gain, the 288 wouldn't be necessary. But no, Gajin insists on nerfing the economy every patch even more. Even with premium time you just barley brake ven in some BRs nowdays. I mean, you can bait the entire enemy team one after another, bait them into a pursuing you and while constanly staying juuust out of their guns so your team mates can easily kill them, and what will it net you? Exactly, 0SL and 0RP, ffs. Or Air RB with tanks ("ground" RB), where it isn't economically viable to spawn more than 2 maybe 3 vehicles as the game will have devolved into (CAS) spawncaming within 5 minutes. IF the players could reliably make more SL, the wouldn't care if they loose some SL in a match and actually fight to the last vehicle. BEcause it wouldn't be a big deal. Instead, most leave after one or two spawns, to save SL. So yeah, I am blaming Gajin, not the 288, or F2G, etc.

I no longer fly out my favorite 109’s (the G14, G10, and K4) because it’s always the same shit— entire team of bombers that dies 4 minutes into the match leaving you and your other 1 or 2 teammates who actually brought fighters getting clapped by 5 or 6 fighters at once.
  • @slateman_8490
The hard part is convincing your teammated to ignore the bombers and keep altitude.
  • 288s are a big issue for super props. The other issue though is how undertier’d a lot of the US planes are compared to every other country besides the USSR which is pretty balanced for once. A good example is vs the G56 you can just play it as dumb as possible and still win. It has almost no advantages other than a one circle turn which is easy to avoid. Yet it’s rated the same as the P51H.
  • @egkeagle8520
Seeing the wings flex on the p51 occasionally throughout the video is really cool.
  • @leef9242
The P-51H in sim is goated, I remember one of my first few matches I got in a dogfight with 3 Me-262s and it was such a fun fight and I got them all but I had to rtb immediately
  • @No_Feelings
Honestly late props are a big contributing factor in US players getting to jets much earlier then they should. From 5.7-6.7 it's pretty much free kills every game with no real risk of loss. The F2G is everywhere, throw in some F4U-4Bs and other teams don't have much chance.
