Putting on the big black suit to become the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader. I am SL-99504 part of the 501st Legion and this is my Darth Vader costume. This is not a store bought costume. the real costume was a two or three person routine, so this was awesome to watch. vader tho did not remove all of this daily, he had a sealed container room where he basically just removed his mask occasionally. the pain and torture of the suit made his dark side much stronger, comfortable he was not.

"My lord, Director Krennic has arrived" Vader: Gimme 10 minutes
  • For all the people wondering, he put this together. It is NOT store bought.

I can’t believe darth Vader has to go through this every day.
  • Yeah ok if this was close to the movie you’d cut off your legs and arm
  • @lordvader4535
he sounded a lot more like kylo ren with the mask on
  • TBH, I didn't know there was this many layers to the Vader costume. It looks a lot simpler than this... and I realize you've worked to simplify the process. That's crazy.

It's weird that I'm in my mid-30s and I'm watching a guy describe how to wear a real Darth Vader costume, yet here I am.

I feel like I just watched Darth Vader’s daily morning routine *Trooper walks in* “We have blown up the last rebel transport lord Vader” “Come on Larry get out I’m vlogging”

I like to think that Anakin himself spends that amount of time preparing every time he comes out of his meditation chamber
  • As an 80's kid that grew up during the massive resurgence of Star Wars popularity during the early 90's with videogames, toys etc, this is so cool to see. I literally watched either Empire or Return every day after school, for years. To say i've seen those movies hundreds of times aren't an exaggeration.

It's ironic how much better this looks than most of the "professional" versions you see at Disneyland, etc.

He literally became Vader when he put the helmet on.
  • This is excellent! You did a FABULOUS job of doing Darth. Who doesn't ❤ the most iconic villain in cinematic history.
  • I love cosplayers this committed. The end result always looks picture accurate
