I always liked tunnels. They were my favorite part of frequent family trips to Colorado. But before this was completed in STL, the only tunnel I ever got to go in was the zoo train tunnel that comes out in front of the tiger enclosure. It had bright painted animals along the walls. Once I paid a crackhead to let me in his basement cause it had a door to the Lemp Mansion tunnels back in '08.
I remember Griffith Tunnel and being amazed at how much longer they made it look in Back to the Future II. Where does Michael J Fox like to eat? Shakey's Pizza!
I was scared after going on the tram at Universal when they had the SFX from the movie Volcano where you were in a subway tunnel. Dang La Brea Tar pits. My favorite thing is to dip a stick in the tar and write fuck words on the walls so they gotta wash it off with a powerhose. And they have that diner from American History X right next to it. I hear most people would rather be curbstomped than work with Edward Norton again.
