This takes me back. Kings of Leon was (and still is) such a special moment in time. Their sound was unique, put together from a mixture of influential artists. They created and brought back an old style of music blended with a new sound that was different of that time. ❤

California waiting has such a sweet sound. With dispare and ache. But so sweet and pleasant. Kings of Leon’s Bass and drums are always kick ass live

Back when they were good they were unstoppable. I saw them support the strokes in a tiny club on this tour and my ears are still ringing.

Still battling with their new stuff. I love this band so much that I can't quite give up on them and they still release a decent amount of songs that I enjoy....but nothing compares to their first 3 albums. Cracks me up when sex on fire/ Use Somebody boppers discover 2004 KOL...especially the interviews they did

I think it has to do with maturity. They write how they feel. And I don't think any of them feel this youthful and energetic and wild as their first three albums.
