and 52 years later she's still playing... incredible!
  • One of the most beautiful Concerto ever composed in my humble opinion .. performed here exquisitely by an amazingly distinguished pianist.. Martha Argerich, and accompanied by an equally excellent orchestra! Such a pleasure to be audience! Wendy Louise Hall [ Pianist, Composer, musician]
  • THANK YOU for providing this video from 1970! Wonderful to see Martha and Franco in their younger years! And Martha still sings the notes to her fingers! Amazing video and sound quality!

I've listened to many recordings of this piece. I don't think there are any better. This interpretation is brilliant and the performance is perfect. The conductor is pretty darn cool too along with the whole orchestra. This is one that people should be watching a hundred years from now.

I love this engraving even though I prefer the 1919 one. Argerich and this concerto are symbiotic, and she succeeds, in some parts, to create an atmosphere of spectacular sweetness and abandon while never losing the sense of drama. I lived several years in buenos aires and one of my biggest regrets is never having had the opportunity to hear her live.

Simply the best musician I've ever seen or heard on YouTube. She's mesmeric, and so utterly brilliant.

Не могу подобрать слова, которые могли бы выразить восторг ,восхищение этой легендарной пианисткой, которая и через пол века продолжает радовать своим талантом! Браво, Марта Аргерих!!!!
  • I was a little boy of 10 when I heard Martha Argerich's first record on my father's Dual stereo equipment on a on a rainy Sunday. I can also remember that concert. After the first note, I was madly in love! It was as if I suddenly glimpsed heaven.  A few days later, one of my aunts gave me some recordings of her, because she could no longer stand by and watch this boy in love suffer. I still love her, Martha, my heart!
  • How wonderful to be able to see and hear Martha Argerich from so long ago! Argerich and Rubinstein…two of the finest interpreters of Chopin’s musical genius!❤️

I think could Chopin thought that his music come to be this big sucess, hundreds years, and still being played in all over the world? His music will never die. He lives throught his music.
