Rolling Quartz ABSOLUTELY needs to be featured at KCON. There are too many Korean idol groups and not enough rock/metal groups.

그 옛날 메탈과 밴드음악을 사랑하던 소년들은 이제 중년이 되었어요. 직장에서의 생존, 육아와 교육, 내집 마련, 노후 대비에 머리 아픈 나날이 그들에게 처한 현실이지요. 물론, 안흥찬의 크래쉬, 신대철의 시나위, 펑크락을 하던 노브레인.. 청춘일 때 듣던 노래들은 근 20년이 넘게 지난 지금도 여전히 동경하고 있어요. 다만 하드락이나 메탈을 들으면 주위에서 뭔가 갸우뚱하는 건 예나 지금이나 다를 바가 없고 무엇보다, 온전히 나를 위해 무언가를 즐길 시간 자체가 줄어들고 있어요. 생업으로 밴드를 하던 형님들은 다들 하나씩 자신의 살길을 찾아 떠나고, 그럴 때마다 저는 '아 시간이 흐르고 있구나' 하고 또 한번 자조를 합니다. 그렇다 해도, 다들 '그 음악'에 대해서는 그 언제까지라도 여전히 잊을 수가 없을 거에요. 각자의 빛나는 청춘을 장식한 소중한 기억들이거든요. 내가 아직 나 그대로임을 확인할 수 있는 열쇠 같은 것이거든요. K팝과 댄스음악이 물론 의미있고 경쟁력있는 음악이지만, 무언가 남는 아쉬움에 이제나 저제나 유튜브를 뒤지다가 며칠 전 우연히 롤링쿼츠를 찾게 됐어요. 다른 건 모르겠고.. 눈부시게 반짝이는 새로운 '열쇠'를 찾은 거 같아서 그냥 좋았습니다. 이렇게 헤비한 음악을 하는 수준급 여성밴드라니! 한편으로는 여러 걱정이 들면서도 한편으로는 안도를 합니다. 옛날 국내 밴드들이 국내에서의 그 척박함과 외로움에 고통받았고 해외진출은 언감생심이었지만 컨텐츠 유통이 훨씬 자유로워진 지금 세대의 밴드에게는 훨씬 넓은 해외에서의 기회가 열리고 있구나.. 저는 제 청춘이 좋았습니다. 그리고 제가 듣던 음악도 좋았습니다. 여러분에게는 그 청춘을 즐기는 시간이 훨씬 더 길게, 더 멀리 지속되길 바래요. 그리고 오로지 자기의 음악만으로 미래를 개척할 수 있는 여유로운 삶이 주어지길 바래요. 응원하겠습니다. * 공연장에서 중년 아재들을 보게 되면 잘 부탁드립니다. ^ ^

I love Jayoung's powerful vocals🥰 and this guitar solo is amazing! i love how both Iree and Hyunjung got a chance to play the leading guitar during that part, they both shined so bright!! Arem and Yeongeun are insanely good at playing their instruments too, i just know nothing about playing bass or the drums to compliment them properly😅 y'all are so good, and i'm so happy to be a Diadem🥰
