    Mumbai had the most organic growth in the whole country People wanted to come here for progress But govt couldn't provide infra as needed at the time and now the whole mumbai has got congested

    Mumbai is so much costly for common/middle class family, Much costlear than Delhi, banglore. That's why Pune is an alternate city for middle class family. Also Pune can expand all around the city. Were mumbai doesn't.

    Bengaluru must learn from Mumbai (Where as cities like Noida, gurugram, Pune, Hyderabad govt is building forcing city towards IT sectors by building world class road and Infrastructure and even asking companies to come and settle there, but in Bengaluru all the companies came here by their own and after their arrivals state govt decided to build multi IT parks etc, despite having worst road, traffic, poor transportation system Bengaluru still tops as 5th start-up destination and 7th IT ranking city around globe) If govt make bengaluru like how other state govts are looking forward no doubt not just in Asia Pacific but all over asia Bengaluru will be head to head competitor for Bejing (let it be any political party in Karnataka they are unfit for bengaluru)

    Things which i want to see happening in #Mumbai. * Slum redevelopment * All new flyovers / tunnels should be 6 lane or more. * New network of Drainage built with TBM to get rid of flooding during monsoon. * All normal Local trains should be converted into AC local with Automatic doors. Non AC locals with out automatic doors should be thing of #past. * 1000 cctv cameras should be installed at critical places to make #Mumbai safest on #Earth. * Cleanliness should be top notch like #Tokyo. Want to see #Mumbai city becoming $1 trillion economy by 2035. #JaiHind 🇮

    The problem with building so many highways is after 5 years, even they are congested, You cannot reduce traffic by just making a lot of highways. Any post war expanded city of US and Canada have tried this and the congestion never stops. Houston has 27 lane highway which is also congested. All those cities are now turning back to building a strong public transit. Mumbai needs these tunnels. But these has to be the max limit. After this there is no scope of further highway expansions. you only need large scale good quality metros and rail. roads should not be used for daily commute. Still all indian cities have not learnt efficient city planning like other asian or European cities. There is a max limit of road infrastructure beyond which it starts to give -ve utility.

    What mumbai or any Indian city need is better public transport which also connect with small satellite town..Politicians will only talk about mumbai nd not it's neighbour area...look how NCR development going towards meerut..RRTS will be masterpiece for it.... Government should focus on connecting public transport with satellite town..fastest way to grow economy

    Now the best part for Mumbai is to increase it's size by taking Thane Palghar and Raigad districts basically MMR amd make it a prt of Mumbai itself basically taking all districts and make a part of Mumbai like hiw is it in China very big cities we need to make like it in Mumbai itself
